GERRY Marchiafava

Vice President, Finance & Controller

Gerry commenced his finance career in 2000, and has specialized in the parking industry. Through the years, he progressed through several senior finance positions in both Canada and the U.S. Before arriving at WestPark, he served as the Director of Finance, Shared Services for one of North America's largest parking management providers. Gerry has extensive experience with back-office functions and truly understands how to combine the needs of our Clients, while maintaining optimal back-office efficiency. Priding himself on full transparency accounting and understanding stakeholders needs, Gerry is a valuable member to WestPark's management team.

Outside of the office, Gerry enjoys running, cycling, and triathlons. An accomplished athlete, he has completed 10 marathons and two Ironman triathlons. His commitment and balance between work, family, and health is inspirational. Gerry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and obtained his Certified Management Accountant designation in 2004.

GILLIAN Howden

GILLIAN Howden

Director, Guest Services

During her 25 years in the parking industry, Gillian has acquired a depth and breadth of experience in parking operations and service delivery. She is recognised as a leader in optimising customer experience and operational efficiency, having managed customer service teams and contributed to the design of customer-centric processes and systems for one of North America's largest parking management companies.

In addition to leadership roles in customer service, Gillian's experience managing parking portfolios has provided her with a keen understanding of what service excellence means to our Clients, Business Partners and Property Managers, in addition to the end user of our parking services; our guests. Complementing her broad experience in parking is Gillian's tremendous energy and enthusiasm to the role of Director, Guest Services.

Gillian holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia and has continued her professional development throughout her career in the areas of parking facilities management and customer service. Gillian is also a proud mother of two energetic young boys, with whom she enjoys all sorts of outdoor activities, including camping and skiing.

John leads a team of professionals, each dedicated to sharing our vision of delivering the best parking and transportation solutions. With over 20 years of experience in real estate management and development, in particular his most recent 15 years in the parking industry, John has led major organizations to new heights. With great success in previous roles, he understands the importance of empowering each individual in the organization to strive for excellence in everything WestPark sets its sights on. A supporter of recognizing personal achievements and promoting accountability and ownership in what we do, John's role is to effect the necessary actions to attain our mission.

John's varied business background and formal education have contributed to his success. He commenced his career in property development and management in 1992, responsible for marketing and operations for a large privately-held consortium, and then went on to his most recent executive roles as Senior Vice President in charge of operations for one of the largest parking management companies in North America. A strategic thinker and innovator, John enjoys exploring new solutions to every challenge.

A family man, John enjoys the outdoors and exploring urban settings both locally and internationally with his wife and two children. One of his passions is studying the airline industry and learning more about history and geography, while one of his favourite pastimes is appraising North American muscle cars.

WILLIAM Morse

WILLIAM Morse

General Manager

William began his career in the parking industry in 2001 working in the front lines of Vancouver's finest hotels. Having worked in the hospitality and tourism industry prior to that in Vancouver and Australia, William was quickly able to grasp the concept of effective customer service. These skills proved beneficial as his career evolved to assume greater roles in managing major valet operations as well as self-park garages in the Greater Vancouver area.

William believes in managing parking operations in a friendly, professional, efficient and cost effective way that consistently delivers the highest levels of customer service. This belief has led to award-winning service excellence awards in his most recent role as General Manager for valet ground transportation at the Vancouver International Airport. He recognizes that the needs of the asset manager and those of the parking guest are equally important.

William grew up on the Vancouver North Shore and to this day still enjoys spending his summers sailing with family on the BC coast. An avid sports fan, when time permits William can be found on the golf course, playing hockey and rugby, or simply biking around the city.
