OVERNIGHT VALET ATTENDANTS (Vancouver, Full-time)

WestPark is looking for an energetic, organized and customer-focused individual to join our Valet team in Vancouver, BC.

You will be responsible for the quality control of our Valet team, and that first begins with hiring. Your job will be to assess hiring needs, to screen and hire the right individuals. You will also be responsible for training all new hires, re-training current employees, and continuously assessing the quality of service our employees provide. You will also be responsible for determining the effectiveness of our training programs and will help our Valet team maintain a high level of customer service excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hiring and training all new employees
  • Scheduling staff
  • Ensuring policy and procedures are followed and met
  • Handling staff questions, concerns and complaints in an effective manner
  • Supporting the team by assisting with daily duties when required (this includes valet, cashier, etc). We are one team and value helping one another out

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of Valet or Customer Service experience
  • 3 years of Supervisory, Lead or Assistant Manager experience
  • Previous valet experience is an asset
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience with training new hires and conducting orientations
  • Familiarity with using Indeed to recruit or other Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check

SHUTTLE BUS DRIVER (Vancouver, Part-Time)

WestPark is looking for an energetic, customer-focused individual to join our team in Downtown Vancouver. This is a part-time position.

A DAY IN THE LIFE:

  • Arrive on shift, in uniform and well groomed
  • Perform exterior and interior vehicle inspection, including checking vehicle fluids, tires etc.
  • Ensure interior and exterior of vehicle are maintained and clean
  • Welcome shuttle bus guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
  • Assist any passengers requiring assistance with parcels when getting on and off the shuttle bus
  • Provide information regarding the property and surrounding points of interest
  • Communicate clearly the pick-up locations and route operating hours
  • Drive professionally and defensively, aware of lanes, pedestrians and other distractions
  • Thank the travelling guests for their patronage and wish them a good visit

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Class 4 (unrestricted) BC Driver's License
  • Clean Driver's Abstract
  • Previous experience as a shuttle bus driver, or professional driving experience is an asset
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience

WestPark is hiring on-call casual Valet Attendants & Cashiers to join our Operations Team. This is an on-call casual position that will fill in for either the valet or cashier position as needed.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VALET & CASHIER:

  • Park and retrieve cars like a champ in a careful, efficient, and timely manner
  • Greet all customers by name, take care of their needs, and develop a rapport with each person driving up to your stand
  • Help direct traffic to keep the flow of cars clean and organized, all with a smile on your face
  • Provide a self-reliant attitude when needed. Must be able to work with or without supervision

  • Perform cashier duties and provide excellent customer service to all departing guests
  • Monitor key storage and retrievals
  • Assist with taxi call volumes when necessary
  • Prepare summaries for cash, check and credit card activities

  • Verify valet rates and post them to guest accounts
  • Monitor the current status of coupon, discount, and other promotional programs.
  • Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy.

  • Respond to guest needs, special requests and complaints and alert the appropriate manager as needed

PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS (Vancouver, Full-Time)

WestPark is looking for positive, customer-oriented individuals to join our Ambassador team and circulate throughout our various lots in the Lower Mainland.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PARKING AMBASSADOR:

Becoming a Parking Ambassador is more than just patrolling. Our Ambassadors help maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for our guests. They also get to use some cool gadgets too!

  • Greeting guests and providing guidance regarding meters, directions and additional details specific to the lot
  • Assisting with the overall presentation of each facility and passing along concerns
  • General parking lot maintenance and clean-up
  • Patrolling to ensure guests are compliant with the parking regulations in place
  • Travelling by car and patrolling multiple lots

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in the customer service field
  • A clean driving record with a Class 5 driver’s license
  • Comfortable with using technology
  • Attentive to details
